Howard Hallis

Howard Hallis was born on July 28, 1971, in Santa Monica, California. He lives near San Diego with his wife Dr. Sam Abraham Hallis, and their daughter Sydney. Howard is known for his fine art piece The Picture of Everything and his lenticular 3D work and illustrations. He worked as Dr. Timothy Leary’s assistant, ran the websites at animation studio Klasky Csupo in the ’90s, hosted alternative goth punk karaoke in the 2010s, and sang for the bands Gefilte Fuck, Don Knotts Overdrive, and Koi Division. His writing credits include Ben Is Dead magazine and many other self-published comic books and fanzines. His art has been featured in Juxtapoz magazine and has been on display at La Luz De Jesus Gallery in Hollywood. He graduated with a BA from UCLA school of Fine Arts, and is a third degree Freemason. His favorite superhero is Doctor Strange, and Treechrome is his favorite color.
