How do you think the planet could benefit from periodical, unexpected world-wide 30 minute power outages? 1. The little people would be safer whenever the lights went off (?). 2. Well there's always Niagara Falls & the wind mills & yoga and... 3. I don't think. 4. I think people would use it in less than positive pursuits, but that eventually they would find little things to do during those 30 minutes--as they became used to the idea that these blackouts were inevitable but not permanent...like thinking, daydreaming,meditating, visualizing world peace... 5. The way things are today it would most likely lead to opportunist criminal activity--but in an Utopian society it could have positive attributes. 6. A temporary police-state would ensue...people would be forbidden on the street during dark periods to pre-empt criminal activity (p.f.)
