When we came there we really thought we were in Ethiopia, we were confused and hungry. We sat and promptly ordered the "honey wine" which turned out kinda scary, it tasted like fermented wheaties... Anyway, we went on to order some appetizers which had mixed reviews. The Yam balls were cool, but the lamb balls were dry and tasteless, kinda like my ex. The pilli pilli sauce was kickin'. We mostly ordered these like, giant plates with a bready lining and then you dump this stew like stuff in there and start moppin' it up with the sea sponge bread called "injera", a foamy pancake mit thing... Yum. Fun and messy, just like teenage sex. Some say it too spicy, same say not spicy enough, there's just no pleasin' some horses!
The ambiance was good, we liked the grass huts. We wanted to be in a big circle or somthing, like in the safari movies. Oh well. Order anything on the menu, its all the same stuff. You don't need to order appetizers, the entrees are HUGE. Enough for two probably. Great waitresses -- pretty too, meow kitty, oooh yaahh!!!!
Top ten things to do with the "injera" bread:
10. Dab the sweat from your brow.
9. Edible back-pack
8. Make-up sponge.
7. Wallpaper for an insane asylum.
6.Padded bra stuffing
5. Wet suit
4. Mouse pad
3. Etheopian maxi pad.
2. Hair transplant rejuvinator.
1. Shoe insole.
