Can even Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, The Hulk, Wonder Woman, The Powerpuff Girls, Thor, Storm, Wolverine, Spawn, Cyborg, Captain Marvel, The Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic, Aquaman, Captain America, Iron Man, Plastic Man, Green Lantern, The Flash, The Silver Surfer, The Thing, The Human Torch, and Super Girl, combined with the might of The Enterprise and The Millenium Falcon, defeat a monster that every time they cut open breeds hundreds more? The Lovecraftian quandary is a metaphor for the state of the world at this time in history... Even with all superhuman power, we have not found a way to keep evil from growing. In fact, with every strike it seems to grow. What's the solution? Well, hopefully Green Lantern and The Enterprise will create a containment field and capture all the monsters they can, and Dr. Strange will banish them back to the dimension from which they came. Just hope they figure this out before Wolverine goes berserk and begins slicing out a few hundred more.
